Dorothy H. Joyce

Schenectady- Dorothy Joyce, 86, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020. Dorothy was the daughter of the late John and Anne Milos. Dorothy was the devoted wife to the late James Joyce.
Dorothy worked at the Rosendale School as a cafeteria assistant for several years before retiring in 2018. Prior to that, she worked at Redwood Lanes in Colonie and at the Colonie Elk's Lodge in Latham.
She enjoyed swimming, trips to the ocean, lobster rolls and spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Kevin J. Joyce, Kathy A. (Robert) Peacock, Timothy Joyce, Karen A. (Majeed) Mahrez and Christopher P. (Tami Ostrander) Joyce; grandchildren, Adam, Nadia and Amir; Brother, Richard Milos; niece, Eleanor; nephew, Stephen; and many dear friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Thursday January 9, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Interment will be held privately at Most Holy Redeemer, Niskayuna.
At the request of the family, donations be made to Nisky NOW, PO Box 132, 1737 Union Street, Niskayuna, NY 12309 in Dotty's memory.
