TROY- Dorothy L. Lewis, 69, of Troy, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 31, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital. She was born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and was the daughter of Frankie Holmes and predeceased by her mother Plumer Holmes. Dorothy was employed at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy for 20 years. She is the beloved wife of 51 years to Andrew C. Lewis. Dorothy is the devoted Mother of Curtis D. Lewis (Tyra) Rochester N.Y., Sandra Rucker (Dakim Rucker) Colonie. and two grandchildren Elijah McCann and Malcolm-Ishmel McCann Colonie.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday August 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 2165 5th Ave. Troy, NY.
There will be no viewing hours. Interment will be at Elmwood Hill Cemetery.
