Dorothy M. Haney

GUILDERLAND – Dorothy M. Haney, 88, of Guilderland, passed away on Monday January 25, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Herman and Esther Smith Schultz. Dorothy was a well regarded employee with the Albany Medical Center business office for many years. She was very active with Hamilton Union Presbyterian Church and served as a church elder. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Richard L. Haney.
She is the beloved mother of Susan J. Haney of Guilderland and Sharon L. (Jim) Sarfeh of Laguna Niguel, CA. She is the sister of Marion Mirocki and the late Russell Schultz. Dorothy is the cherished grandmother of Colin R. Sarfeh. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 at Hamilton Union Presbyterian Church, Guilderland at 10:00. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
