Dorothy Patricia Ross
August 4, 1937 — April 6, 2012
ALBANY – Dorothy Patricia Ross, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, April 6, 2012 after a long bout with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was a long time waitress with the Union and various restaurants. She was a devoted mom and homemaker.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, WWII hero Edward J. Ross, parents Georgia and Claude Baker, and granddaughter Patricia L. Bartoli. She leaves behind sons John, David and Vincent Ross; daughters Patricia Bartoli and Claudia Jean Baker; grandchildren Tammy (Kevin) Shadwick, Linsey and Victoria Bartoli, Cristal Ramundo, Katie and Casey McGuiness, Jonathon Walsh, McKayla Burke, David, Jr., Maria and Joshua Ross; daughter-in-law Stacy McGuiness and five great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
