SCHENECTADY – Dorothy C. Ross, 93, of Schenectady passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 after a period of declining health.
She was born in Delhi, NY on August 10, 1929 a daughter of the late Harry and Mildred (Duel) Conrow.
Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed quilting, collecting antique lighting, visiting covered bridges in the Northeast, baking and visiting the ocean.
Dorothy was a longtime member of the Eastern Parkway United Methodist Church in Schenectady.
She was predeceased by her husband John and her son, Jack Wesley.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Patricia (Daniel) Gillespie, Scott (Martha) Ross, Daniel (Colleen) Ross and Nancy (Darroch) Moores. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. Online condolences may be expressed at www.NewComerAlbany.com
