Douglas E. Mckie

Douglas E. McKie, 68, of Guilderland, NY passed away suddenly March 21, 2016 at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness. His loving family was by his side. He was born to the late Madeline Butterworth (Raymond) and Earl McKie (Catherine) on April 15, 1947. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Carolyn McKie, his son Brian McKie (Lisa), his daughter Nicole McKie and his beloved granddaughter Abigail McKie. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Butterworth, and leaves behind his brothers Thomas McKie Sr. (Darlene), James Butterworth (Joanne), Raymond Butterworth (Angie) and several nieces and nephews. Douglas preferred the simple things in life and in following his wishes there will be no services held.
