Douglas R. Pollock Sr.

Latham- Douglas R. Pollock Sr., 79, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Ralph and Hazel Pollock. Doug is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia Pollock (Schanz).
Douglas was graduate of Siena College class of 1973. Following college Doug worked for Real Property Services for New York State. He was a proud veteran serving in the United States Army. Doug was a member of the Mohawk Post 1450 in Halfmoon. He enjoyed being on the water, fishing and boating and loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Douglas is survived by his children; Douglas R. Pollock Jr. (Wanda), Gregory R. Pollock (Lorrie), Daniel A. Pollock (Tara) and Matthew R. Pollock (Courtney). He was the loving Grandpa to; Emma, Lilly, Maxwell, Julia, Laura and future baby boy on the way.
He is also survived by his sister Mary Jane Hotaling (the late Charles) and many nieces and nephews.
Doug is predeceased by his brother Frank Pollock.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Our Lady of Mercy Life Center for the love and care given to Doug.
