Dr. Christopher J. White, 33, passed away on the morning of October 31, 2023.
Born on July 24, 1990, in Niskayuna, he was the beloved brother of Michael and cherished son of Jay and Catherine (Squillini) who reside in Colonie, New York.
Chris is survived by his parents, younger brother Michael (Mireya), Uncle Bob (Julie), Uncle Mike (Claire), Uncle Joe (Pat), Uncle Jerry, Uncle Frank (Lynn), Uncle Joe (Pam) and numerous cousins.
Chris grew up in Colonie and enjoyed sports including bodybuilding, golf, track, and baseball. He was a loving, admirable, motivating big brother and role model to Michael always providing him with guidance and mentoring. He was incredibly disciplined, hardworking, determined and someone his friends and family looked up to and were inspired by. He was a man of integrity, honor and respect who made his family incredibly proud.
He graduated from South Colonie High School in 2008 and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree at Cortland University in 2012. He then earned the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic in 2016 at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) located in Seneca Falls, New York. During his years at Cortland and NYCC Chris made numerous close friends with whom he created many wonderful memories. His wit, charm, kidding nature, sincerity, authenticity, and love for others fostered many deep and lasting friendships. He looked out for and stood by those he loved.
Chris held Chiropractic positions in Buffalo, Watervliet, Clifton Park New York and Charleston South Carolina. In 2020 he opened his own practice, Pillar Chiropractic, in Guilderland, New York where he helped hundreds of patients achieve better lives. He worked especially hard to help veterans, the disabled, the elderly and indigent. He was loved by his patients for his skills and kindness.
There are no words that could sufficiently describe what a beautiful soul and wonderful person Chris was. Chris had such a developed knowledge of all genres of music. Chris loved country music (especially Eric Church), his beloved RAM truck, working out at the gym and time talking to his friends. He was a habitual prankster with an incredible sense of humor who lovingly pulled at the hearts of many with his joking and good-natured banter. He was the definition of a genuine person. He will always be remembered and has deeply touched the lives of everyone who was fortunate enough to cross his path.
Friends and Family are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, November 9 from 4pm- 8pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie. Funeral proceedings will begin at New Comer on Friday November 10 at 10 am. Mass will be held starting at 11 am at St. John's the Evangelist in Schenectady and a committal service will follow after the mass at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
