Albany- Dwight Philip Jones, 42, passed away on January 14, 2022. Dwight was born on September 9, 1979, in St. Elizabeth Black River Jamaica West Indies to the late Hylton Jones, and Claudine M. Blake-Jones.
Dwight was a DJ. He also was an Activist for Black Rights and Freedom. Dwight was the podcast host of Power talk on YouTube.
Dwight was preceded in death, by his, Father Hylton Jones. His sound SLNB Sound DJ Power /Father Power, which he named after his falling friends. His in-law Shateek, Louie, Niddy, Black aka Julius Brown, Louis Lunar, Michael Tenorio and Shawndell Bennett.
To cherish Dwight's memory, He is is survived by his loving, Spouse Kyesha Shamone Brown. Children; Kyesha Olivia Jones, Kaillou Philip Jones. Step- Children Dayshawn Brown, Altoney Brown, Lincoln Brown, Elaine Brown, Devyne White and Akeil Green. Mother, Claudine Jones. Grandchildren; Mariceal Tenorio, Serenity Brown, Messiyah Brown, Myh'kenzie Logan, Mayjour Hall, Nay'lahnie Basket, Cyncere White, Nevaeh Brown, Lay'lahnie Brown. Brothers; Wayne Jones, Donovan Jones. Sisters; Nova Jones-Small,Deanne Jones-Cherilus,Allison Jones, judith Jones. Nephews: Nicholas Jones, Christopher Jones, Johnathan Jones, Kevin Jones, Hakeem Jones, Deandrew Cherilus, Ishmael Cherilus. Niece; Breanna Small. Friends; Vernon Singh, Dellon Singh, Troy & Rita Barrow and family, Thakoor Moses and Sister in-law Marian Brown and family, and Patricia McMillian and family. A host of cousins and friends. Dwight will be deeply missed by many that loved and cherished him.
