SCHENECTADY_Earl L. Page Jr., 67, passed away on November 29, 2015 at Stratton VA Medical Center.

He was born on June 23, 1948 to the late Earl Page Sr. and Evelyn (Meadows) Page in Middleburgh, NY.

Earl was a Veteran of the United States Army serving his country in Vietnam. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Expert Badge (M-16 rifle) and Sharpshooter Badge (M-14 rifle). After his service to his country, Earl had a long career working in the telecommunications industry, most recently he had worked at Cable Technologies in Mechanicville. Earl was also a successful entrepreneur.

On March 10, 1971 he was married to Barbara McCormick in Annapolis, MD. Earl and Barbara lived in the Bronx and later relocated to Schenectady where they raised their 2 boys.

Earl was a hard worker, a devoted husband and father. He was outgoing and an excellent pool player and he also enjoyed fishing. Earl was always down for a good time and he was informally known as "Pretty Tony".

Earl is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara; his sons, Earl L. (Kiamisha) Page III (Fuki), Eric A. Page ("Lil E"); grandchildren, Earl L. Page IV (Chulo) Kiasha Lewis, Carlos Lewis, Shateek Calhon-Page; great-grandchild, Frank Nanci; sister, Marjorie F. Page; a nephew, Leighton Page (Scottie); niece, Michelle Williams; and his best friend Archie (Patricia) Ross and many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 7, 2015 from 9-11 am at New Comer Funeral Home in Colonie. A funeral service to celebrate Earl's life will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, immediately following visitation on Monday at 11 am. Interment will be held following services at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
