Earl Glenn Smith, age 96, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Loudonville Assisted Residence with his wife Jean by his side.
Earl was born in Exeter, NY to the late Albert and Rena (Wright) Smith.
Earl was a scholar and a gentleman, a WWII veteran was awarded the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Award, good conduct
medal, WWII Victory medal and the Army Occupation medal. He was employed as a union carpenter and foreman. Earl was an inventor
and had a patent for his shaving lotion (Earl's Nature Shave) He enjoyed oil painting, playing cards and landscaping their home of 64 years.
He was a Member of the Masonic Mason and The American Legion of Delmar.
Earl attended the Schuyler Lake School, Richfield Springs Central School and later in life RPI.
He is survived by his wife of 78 years Jean (Norton) Smith and many nieces and nephew.
Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery Richfield Springs, NY at the convenience of the family
