Earl Stafford, Jr.

NISKAYUNA – Earl Stafford, Jr., 90, passed away on Sunday April 21, 2024 at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany.
He was born in Albany on April 27, 1933 a son of the late Earl and Harriet (Daley) Stafford, Sr. He graduated from Columbia High School in East Greenbush.
Earl was a proud veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 until 1956.
Following the military, Earl went to work at the family business, The Pump Man, Inc., a company started by his father, Earl Sr.. He remained there until there until his retirement.
In Earl's retirement, he enjoyed his new cars and enjoyed maintaining them.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed.
Earl is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Carol Stafford; his sons, Earl Stafford, III and Mac (Patricia) Stafford and his daughter, Robyn (Robert) Grover; his 2 grandchildren, Samantha and Thomas Dame; his siblings, Calvin Stafford and Sondra Post and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a service to immediately follow at 7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy-Schenectady Road, Watervliet. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Northeast Region, 1003 New Loudon Road, Suite 201, Cohoes, NY 12047 in Earl's memory.
