Earle “Jerry” Augustus Campbell, was born on May 26, 1950 in Kingston, Jamaica to the late Millicent M. McClure and Earle A. Campbell. Earle grew up in Kingston until he had the privilege of traveling with his brother in the music industry until given the opportunity to migrate to the United States of America with his family in January 1991. He came with a plan set to make a better life with his wife Elaine by his side.
Jerry resided in Brooklyn, NY where he was known to many. He worked as a warehouse worker at Big Geyser formerly known as Crystal Geyser until his retirement in 2012. After which he relocated to Florida to fulfill one of his life long dreams of living in the sunshine state.
Jerry was known to many as a loving, kind and humble man who possessed a great passion for his family and music. He would play music from the late greats, skank and sing out loud. He loved the horses and playing the lottery with hopes of hitting it big one day. His faith and determination was like none other. Earle lived a full life surrounded by his hopes, dreams, and visions that carried him throughout every season he embarked on.
In his early childhood years he gained a skill of painting cars. ln his 20’s he became a cyclist. He loved riding his bike that was his true passion. Jerry would ride his bike and nothing else would matter. He was so exceptional at riding he would ride with his daughter on the bike. His natural peddling style is what made him so highly respected when it came to the sport.
In his latter years Earle was blessed with the opportunity to be enveloped with the love of his family.
Earle will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. He leaves behind 3 daughters; Kesia Bradshaw, Cornelia Whitfield, and Justine Campbell, 2 sons; Dondre Campbell and Patrick Peterkin, Mellisa Campbell daughter deceased, Grandchildren Richard Hewitt Jr, Jaiyana Daniels, Taylor Campbell, Tyler Campbell, Ava Whitfield, Leona Whitfield, Dondre Whittingham, Rayquan Lawrence, Kamiri Campbell, Ishmael Peterkin, Kyle Peterkin, Israel Peterkin, Isaac Peterkin. Elaine Campbell former wife. Siblings Carlos Spencer, Sharon Spencer deceased, Glenice Spencer deceased, Geo Spencer deceased, Don Spencer deceased, Earl Campbell, Patricia Johnson, Glenys Neufville, Carl Campbell, Marcia Hayles, Paulette Roper, Byron Campbell, Vincent Campbell, Paula Powell deceased, Audley Campbell deceased, Trevor Campbell deceased, Beenie Campbell deceased. Plenty of nieces and nephews that he loved and adored like his own and a host of friends.
