ALBANY-Earlie James Roberts, "Earl", 75 entered eternal rest on Wednesday September, 26 2018 at St. Peter's Hospital Hospice Inn in Albany, New York.
Earlie was born in Jacksonville, FL, the son of predeceased George Roberts and Catherine Crawford. Predeceased by two sisters Mary Lee and Katherine Abdur-Raman.
Earlie worked for the Capital District Transportation Authority where he retired after 35 years of service. Earl was a longtime fan of the NY Mets. He enjoyed Saratoga Race Track and casinos.
Earl is survived by his children Ashley Roberts, Ramonia Bell, Ny'Quan McLean, Ricardo Roberts of Albany, New York. Victoria Roberts, Shannon Roberts of St. Louis, Missouri and LaDonna Roberts of Schenectady, New York. Three sisters Doris Crawford, Linda Burch of Saratoga Springs, New York and Delores Walls of Texas, two brothers Larry Crawford and Lloyd Anderson of Saratoga Springs, New York and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece's, nephew's and family friends.
Earlie's memorial service will be held at Sojourner Truth AME Zion Church, located at 351 Livingston Ave, Albany, New York 12206 at 11:00am on Friday October, 19 2018.
