Mrs. Edith R. Moberg of West Brookfield, MA, passed away on April 28, 2006 at the home of her daughter, Joan M. Salmon of Shushan, NY.
She was born in Worcester, MA in 1908, the daughter of David H. and Eva M. Rogers.
She was a graduate of the old Commerce High School in Worcester, MA.
Married to Carl E. Moberg, she was the mother of six children. David H. Moberg of E. Wakefield, NH, Joan M. Salmon of Shushan, NY, Carl R. Moberg of Peterborough, NH, Barbara A. Moberg of Shushan, NY, Linda L. Donovan of Dallas, TX and Richard E. Moberg of Spencer, MA. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Alice M. Cooney and Dorothy Hawksworth and her brother, Alfred Rogers. She leaves in addition to her children, 21 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Edith was a lifetime member of the Masonic Order of the Eastern Star.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be at the pleasure of her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Salvation Army.
