Edith C. Ciccone, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Ellis Hospital, with her loving family by her side.
Edith was the daughter of the late George and Irma (Price) Salisbury.
She was the devoted wife of over 63 years, to Thomas J. Ciccone.
Edith loved spending time with her husband, taking care of her children and grandchildren, family dinners and events, Christmas, Traveling to the ocean, crafts, dancing and listening to music.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Lenny Connor and Charles Salisbury.
Edith is survived by her husband Thomas, her children, Thomas Ciccone and his wife Kathie, John Ciccone and his wife Andrea, Carol (Ciccone) DelGiacco, and her husband Albert. her siblings, Gloria (Schmeichel) Salisbury, Nelson Salisbury, Gerald Salisbury, Linda Kingsland, Donna (Cole) Salisbury and Mark Salisbury. She is the adored grandmother of, Jolene Ciccone, Paula Ciccone, Kenneth Ciccone, Mindy Galietta, Jennifer Ciccone, John Ciccone, April Talbot, William Ciccone, Sarah Pendt, Kyrsten Carroll, Kaylie DelGiacco as well as many loved Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Wednesday April 21,
2021 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements.
Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
