RENSSELAER - Edith May Woodbridge, 98, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA after a brief illness. She most recently resided at EPOCH Assisted Living at Melbourne in Pittsfield, where she was the oldest resident.
Edith was born on January 18, 1908 in Albany and was the daughter of the late John and Anna Klossner. She was a seamstress for many years at the Jacobson Shirt Factory in Albany. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed playing cards, traveling and spending time with her family. Everyone who met her loved her.
Edith is survived by her son, Robert (Betty) Woodbridge; her daughter, Louann Mason; her grandchildren, Frank, Bonnie, Wendy, Steven, Robin, Maureen, Paula and Laurie; 15 great grandchildren and her niece, Dorothy (Henry) Nichols. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Woodbridge, her sisters, Anna and Bertha and her son-in-law, Frank Mason.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155 – south of Central Ave.). Calling hours on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment Memory's Garden, Colonie.
