Edith E. Nunnally

Edith E. Nunnally, Daughter of the Late Reverend Percy and Jesse Walker was born on July 15, 1944 in Monticello, NY. She spent her early childhood years in Monticello prior to relocating with her family to Albany, NY, where she was formally educated in the Albany Public School System.
During her teenaged years, Edith's best friend, the late Helen Garnes, (who would later become her Sister-in-Law) would cause her to meet the love of her life. Frankie Nunnally. Edith and Frankie were married on November 17, 1985 and for the next 36 years they joyfully and successfully raised their 5 children: Terry, Todd, Tammy, Stacy, and Jeffery.
Edith was employed by the New York State Retirement System, retiring after 22 years of service.
Edith enjoyed planting flowers, reading, completing crossword puzzles, and traveling. She was an excellent host at any family gathering or party. She possessed the art of making each person in attendance feel as if they were being celebrated. She knew how to make you feel glad you came.
The love and pride she displayed for her Children, her Grandchildren and her Great-Grandchildren was a blessing to behold. Her love for her husband, Frankie, and her often open expression of the same, was a testament to their loving marital relationship.
On Wednesday May 19, 2021, Edith E. Nunnally transitioned from this life to be with our Lord in Heaven. She was predeceased by her parents: Reverend Percy and Jesse Walker.
Cherishing her memory: her beloved husband, Frankie Nunnally. She will also be missed her children, Terry, Todd, Tammie, Stacy and Jeffery; her Siblings Rose, Frankie, Percy Jr., Elizabeth Walker. Brothers-in-law: Allen and Paul Garnes, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
