Edith M. Osterhout

Colonie- Edith M. Osterhout, 95, formerly of Colonie passed away on July 7, 2022 at the Wesley Health Center in Saratoga Springs. She was born in Albany on February 21, 1927 to the late John and Stasia Hahn and devoted wife of 65 years to Ivan C. Osterhout who passed away in 2010. She grew up in Albany and was a graduate of Albany High School, and worked in the retail field. She was a communicant of Christ Our Light Church in Loudonville, NY. Edith was an avid New York Mets and New York Jets fan traveling on numerous occasions to New York City.

She is survived by her sons, John of Latham and Tom (Michele) of Clifton Park; 6 grandchildren Michael (Amber), Julia (Jared), Eric (Colleen), Traci (Mike), Patrick (Kalene), Danielle; 6 great grandchildren Lucas, Parker, Adia, Cameron, Penelope, and Nathan.

She is predeceased by her daughter (Nancy), daughter-in-law (Paula), granddaughter (Stephanie).

The family would like to thank RN Beth Mannarino and the caring staff of 2 Springs at the Wesley over the past 3 years. Also we would like to thank RN Margaret Jones of Community Hospice for their support and care during the last 7 months.
