CLIFTON PARK_Edna F. Darmetko, 97, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2016.
She was born on May 18, 1919 to Martin and Maude (Harden) Donahue in Troy.
Edna was a nursery nurse at Leonard Hospital in Troy for 40+ years. She will be greatly missed.
Edna is survived by her sister, Pearl M. DePoalo; nieces, Carolyn (Alfred) Chenot, Nancy (Joseph) Couch, Judy (James) Koblenzer, Jean Purcell, Marie Woodworth and nephew Martin John (MaryJo) DePoalo and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph C. Darmetko; sister, Martha Miller and brothers-in-law, Henry Miller and George DePoalo.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 from 9-10am at New Comer Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 10 am at New Comer Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Living Hope Methodist Church, 126 Middletown Rd, Waterford, NY 12188.
