Edna R. Bennett

SCHENECTADY – Edna R. Bennett, 67, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Blanche St. Pierre. She lived in Schenectady for most of her life. Edna was a long time member of Moose Lodge #251 in Schenectady. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, boating, camping and line dancing. Edna is the beloved mother of Tina (Butch) Stevens, Sandra Miller and Khoury (Nichole) Bennett. She is the loving sister of David St. Pierre, Joanne Hotala-Goncalves, Edwin St. Pierre and the late Phillip St. Pierre. Also surviving is her loving companion of twenty-three years, George Robinson, as well as nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 9:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park.
