Rensselaer- Edna M. VanDenburgh, 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 23, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Edna was the daughter of the late Alfred and Margaret Myers.
Edna enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved baking for them, especially cakes. One of her favorite hobbies was playing bingo. Edna enjoyed a good game of Solitaire. She could always be found spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Edna is survived by her children, Bertram V. (Maria) VanDenburgh, III, Amie-Marie L. VanDenburgh, Jason A. VanDenburgh, Eric S. (Fanta) VanDenburgh; grandchildren, Kristopher, Noah, Anthony, Jordan, Bailee, Vinny, Eric, Jr., Theresa, and Juniper; siblings; Alfred (Vanessa) Myers, Jr., Margaret (Ed) Gilchrist, Dean (Wayne) Myers, Lawrence (Bea) Myers, Linda Beckwith, Doug Myers and Kyle Myers; her dear friend, Lynn;
and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Edna is predeceased by her brothers; Edward (Linda) Myers and Keith Myers.
A celebration of life will be held at the Rensselaer Volunteer Ambulance, 901 3rd St., Rensselaer, NY 12144 for family and friends from 11am to 3pm on Friday, July 30, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Edna's name to the Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club https://secure.squarespace.com/checkout/donate
