SCHENECTADY- Edward James Akin, III was born November 27, 1979. He passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 24, 2020.
Eddie lived his life to the fullest, although his time on earth was cut short. He was always very helpful, giving, loving, caring, friendly, outgoing, and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed being outdoors surrounded by nature, the lakes, and boating. Eddie loved all animals, especially dogs. He loved and cared about his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. His family meant the world to him and he meant the world to his family.
Eddie was loved by so many. He will be greatly and dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Our memories of him will be cherished forever. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Fly high Eddie.
Edward was predeceased by his father Edward J. Akin Jr., along with his maternal and paternal grandparents, and several other relatives.
He leaves behind his mother, Bonnie A. Akin; sisters, Tammy L. Akin and Brittany A. Akin; nephews, Felix Rodriguez, Alex Rodriguez and Julian Hoolas; nieces, Alyscea Rodriguez, and Areahna Aulet; aunts, Helen Brand, Nancy Schmid and Brenda Schmid; uncles, Fredrick Akin, Walter Akin and Gene Schmid. Eddie also leaves behind several cousins and close friends.
Due to the current environment surrounding Covid 19 all services will be private.
