Edward Bombard, Jr.

Albany- Edward Bombard, Jr. , 88, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016. Eddie was the son of the late Edward and Mary Bombard. Eddie was the devoted husband of 53 years to the late Shirley Bombard.

Eddie enjoyed OTB, Saratoga Racino, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and watching reality television shows.

Eddie is survived by his children: Eddie Walbroehl, Bobby Walbroehl, Nancy Ammons, Sharon Herr, Michael Bombard, and EJ (The DJ) Bombard; along with many loving nieces, nephews, family, and OTB Cronies.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Friday, July 1st, 2016, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will take place after calling hours at 12:00 pm, with the burial to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Edward's name to the Albany Community Hospice.
