Edward E. Caouette Jr.
January 26, 1938 — July 23, 2021
COLONIE- Edward E. Caouette Jr., age 83, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn.
He was born in Stamford, NY, the son of the late Edward and Margaret Caouette Sr. He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Caouette.
Edward was a huge NY Giants fan, loved riding around on his tractor, loved his wife, kids and grandkids. He also loved his Big Band music.
He was a truck driver for Hi-Health Dairy for many years, before retiring from the Albany Parking Authority.
Edward is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon; his children; Lisa A. Rossi (Bill), Edward, and Todd (Vanessa); grandchildren, Andrew J. Rossi (Kate), Maranda R. Rossi, Dominic N. Caouette, Noah J. Caouette, Brennan C. Caouette and Camille L. Caouette; and soon to arrive great grandson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend his services at the funeral home on Friday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Edward's memory made be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
