Edward Cox

LATHAM _ Edward George Cox, 76, passed away at St. Peter's Hospice Inn on December 22, 2015.

He was born on May 3, 1939 to the late Richard and Elizabeth Cox.

Ed married the love of his life, Carole Anne on May 23, 1979 and together they raised five daughters. Ed was a devoted husband and father and his happiest moments were in the company of his family and friends. He loved watching and attending all his favorite sporting events. In 2001, Ed retired from the Elbo Room were he was employed as a manager. After his retirement, he enjoyed spending the winter months at his home in Florida where he will be dearly missed by all of his friends.

Ed is survived by his loving Wife, Carole Anne; Daughters, Dawn (Richard) Kennedy, Francine (Cynthia) Wilkinson-Morrone, Michelle (Chris) Marino-Jobmann, Beth (Scott) Houck, Jennifer (Darren) Romanski; Grandchildren, Michael, Alexis, Alyssa, Courtney, Christopher, Ryan, Justin, Jason; Brothers, Richard, Kenneth, Jeffrey; Sisters, Dolores, Carolyn, Donna, his loving puppy, Sophie and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded by his Brother, Andrew.

Friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A Funeral service for Ed will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10:00 am at the New Comer Funeral Home. Interment will be held immediately following services on Wednesday at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
