Edward E. Davis

Edward E. Davis, 79, passed away peacefully December 29, 2013 after a long illness. Ed was born in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Harold and Eleanor Davis.
He retired from Atlas Welding Accessories, Schenectady.
He enjoyed archery, target shooting and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was also a member of the Albany/Schenectady HOG Club.
In addition to his parents he was preceded by his first wife, Geraldine Buckman and his second wife, RuthAnn Stone.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife of over 13 years, Carole (Leslie) Davis; his cherished children, Linda (George) Noble, Diane (Don) Harris, Laurie Davis, Edward (Wendy) Davis, Rhonda (Sean) Demers, Robert Davis, John (Courtney) Davis, Melissa Braconnier and Jason (Stephanie) Leslie. He is the adored grandfather of Sarah, Holly, Jessica, Erika, Jared, James, Brittany, Danny, Maggie, Ben, Madison, Alexis and Mason. He is also survived by his sister, Karen (Robert) Appleton and his brothers, Malcolm (Becky) Davis and Roger (Judy) Davis.
Memorial Contributions to the Community Hospice of Albany County 445 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY 12205 or to the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) BCAN 4915 St. Elmo Ave., Suite 202, Bethesda, MD 20814 in Edward's memory.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. There will be an hour of calling prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
