Edward F. Lasak

GUILDERLAND – Edward F. Lasak, 40, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Albany Medical Center, after a long illness, with his family at his side.
Ed was born in Niskayuna and lived in this area most of his life. He was a graduate of Guilderland High School.
Ed leaves behind his parents, Dorothy (Szymalak) and William A. Lasak; his brother, Robert Lasak; his sister, Lori Quay and her husband Joel; his cherished nephews, Justin and Jordan Quay; and his uncle, Robert "Uncle Bob" Lasak. Ed was always known for his friendly smile and shining personality.
Funeral services will be at 12 noon Monday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be held private for the family at Sts. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam.
