Edward F. Trozenski, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jul 03, 2013 at Westmere Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Aug 07, 1928 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Viktor and Romualda Trozenski. He was an active member of the Rotterdam Elks and proudly served in the United States Army. Edward also worked as a steam fitter with General Electric Company in Schenectady and loved wood working and gardening.
Edward is survived by his wife, Margaret A.; his son, Victor (Lisa) Trozenski, his grandchildren, Sienna and Michael, his step children, Linda (Robert) Seib, Sharon Triolo, Lori Gagnon, Joann (Gene) Eistertz and Charles Nowacki. He is also survived by many step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, close family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Edward was predeceased by his wife, Margaret V. and one brother and four sisters.
The family would like to thank Patti and the staff at Westmere home for adults for all of the care and compassion given to Edward.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205 in Edward's memory.
Funeral service for Edward will be Tuesday, July 09, 2013 at 11:00 am at the New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 9 to 11 am. Interment will follow the service at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
