Edward Froehlich Sr.
December 13, 1934 — July 10, 2015
Edward J. Froehlich (Eddie), 80, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10th 2015 after a long illness.
Born in Albany, Eddie was the son of the late Robert and Beatrice Froehlich. Eddie was predeceased by his devoted wife of 25 years, Barbara Jean.
Eddie was a 30 year member of the International Brotherhood of Laborers. Eddie was most happy working on home projects and caring for his wife and family.
Eddie is survived by his children, Edward Froehlich Jr., Deborah (Gino) Madaio, Donald (Renee) Howe, grandchildren, Rebecca, Steven, Eddie, Kate, Erin, Victoria and BaileyAnn, and siblings, Thelma McGraw, Evelyn Bliven and Robert Froehlich Jr.
In addition to his wife and parents, Eddie was predeceased by his sister Joan and brothers, Billy and Artie.
There will be no calling hours. A mass will be held on Wednesday July 15th, at 9:00 am at the Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany. Interment immediately following (Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St. Peters Hospice Inn, Albany, NY.
