Edward H. Landon

Clifton Park- Edward H. Landon, 50, died on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the Northwoods in Troy. Born in Albany he is the son of Allen and Irma Landon of Rensselaer. Ed was a plumber all of his life subcontracting for BBL and Altek and many other companies in the area. Ed is predeceased by his wife Jean (Mason) Landon.
In addition to his parents, Edward is survived by his brother Robert Landon (Michelle) of Nassau, his two sisters; Deborah Handy (Edward) of Latham, and Diane Gardner (Jeffrey) of Gloversville, and several nieces and nephews. Edward also leaves behind his fiancée Mary Jane McDaniel of Clifton Park.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Community Congregational Church of Clinton Heights, 221 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144, in memory of Edward H. Landon.
