BOLTON LANDING- Edward (Eddie) J. Hodgkinson, 76, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, after a long illness.

Edward was born in Troy, NY to the late Albert and Mary Joan(Conway) Hodgkinson on July 14, 1942. He was an alumnus of The Christian Brothers Academy, received an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force and was the founding President of American Chemical Supply Company, Inc. (formerly Troy Sanitary Supply Company, Inc.) and The Lake George Donzi Club. He was also a member of The Elks Club in Vero Beach Florida, where he and his late wife wintered, in retirement. He loved to tell a good joke, drive fast boats and play with his rescue dogs.

Edward is predeceased by both of his parents, his wife of 55 years, Augusta (Armstrong) Hodgkinson, their infant son, Kirk Hodgkinson, and Edward's brother and sister, John R. Hodgkinson and Patricia(Hodgkinson)DeBenedetto. He is survived by his daughter, Hon. Paulette M. Kershko (John), son David A. Hodgkinson (Lisa) and two grandchildren, Claire Kershko and Nicholas Hodgkinson.

A graveside service will be held at Gerald B.H. Solomon, Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871 on Friday, December 28, 2018, at 2:00pm.

Donations can be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
