Edward Edmund Legg, Sr.

Petersburg- Edward Edmund Legg, Sr., 80, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Edward was the son of the late Luther and Mabel Legg. Edward was the devoted husband to the late Marjorie Legg.

Edward worked at Fort Orange Papermill for 30 years, then Bond till he retired. He also enjoyed going to the Casino.

Edward is survived by his children, Tammy (Christopher) Conger and Edward E. (Annette) Legg, Jr., six grand children; 5 great grandchildren; three sisters and one brother.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Congregational Church in Ravena on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

A Graveside Service will be held in Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY for both Edward and Marjorie on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Grafton Rescue Squad.
