Edward Malcolm

Guilderland – Edward Alexander Malcolm, 75, passed away peacefully Monday, June 21, 2010, at home in Guilderland after a long illness. He was born in Albany, September 13, 1934, the son of the late Harry Roy and Rose Malcolm. Edward graduated from Vincentian Institute in 1952 and St. Michael's College in 1956. He proudly worked for General Electric Company for his entire career. His love of horses and sports, especially baseball, sustained him throughout his life.
Edward is survived by his sons Andrew (Kimberly) Malcolm and James Malcolm and his daughter Jennifer (Gerald) Glynn. He was predeceased by his son Christopher. His brothers Neil and Harry also survive him. His beloved grandchildren include Cameron, Aidan and Moira Glynn, Will Malcolm and Zoe Rose Malcolm.
The funeral service will be 1:00pm Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home.
