Edward Podeswa, Jr.

Schenectady – Edward E. Podeswa, Jr. died October 10, 2007 at St. Clare's Hospital.

Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Katherine and Edward E. Podeswa, Sr. and a lifelong area resident. Edward was a veteran of the U S Army and after, a Machinist at the Watervliet Arsenal.

Edward is survived his sister and brother-in-law; Diana and Don Carofano of Woodstock, GA and their children; Jennifer (Steven) Carofano-Rosen of CA, Beth (Kim) Magin of London England and Justin Carofano of Cambridge MA.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at the New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady.
