Edward Leroy Slauson

Albany- Edward LeRoy Slauson, 96, passed away on October 19, 2022. Edward was born on August 9, 1926 to the late LeRoy and Carrie B. Slauson.
Coxswain in the Navy WWII and the Battle of Normandy honorably discharged in 1946. Edward was employed at Hamilton Printing Company. Edward had a business cleaning new homes. He was a Member of German American Club of Albany, American Legion Joseph E. Zaloga Post of Albany, NY.

Edward Met the love of his life Rosella , at the Rollatorium Roller skating rink. He used to walk her to the bus and turn her around and kiss her so she'd have to wait for the next bus to come. Edward and Rosella , were married on January 25, 1948, and to that union they had three children.
Edward leaves to cherish his memory , loving wife of 74 years Rosella M. Slauson. Children Mary Corinne "Corie" Multari, Carolyn "Lynn" (Jeffrey) Jones. Grandchildren; Eric Slauson (Antonia), Jillian Multari, Whitney Multari, Taylor Muztafago, Angelo Multari, Olivia Muztafago, Angelina Multari. Great Grandchildren Adrian Slauson, Sofia Slauson.

Edward is predeceased by his son Robert Slauson.
