COLONIE – Edward T. Enos, 71, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Kelly) Enos. Ed lived in Colonie for all of his life. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Enos was a master carpenter and shop foreman for Paulsen Lumber before his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, golf, all outdoor recreation and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Ed is the beloved husband of 50 years to Judith A. (Britting) Enos. He is the devoted father of Edward J. (Maureen) Enos of Clifton Park and Jennifer (Fred) Cassin of Loudonville. He is the loving brother of Nancy (Gilbert) Dietzel of Colonie. Ed is the cherished grandfather of Katherine, Carolyn and Joey Enos and William and Emily Cassin. He is the uncle of Kimberly Lorini and Donna Martin. Also surviving are his two faithful friends, Ellie and Rudy. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of 5 Brady Farrell at St. Peter's Hospital for all of the care and kindness they gave to Ed during his stay.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Our Light Catholic Church (formerly St. Francis de Sales). There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. At the request of the family, and instead of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the National Kidney Foundation, 99 Troy Road, Suite 200, East Greenbush, NY 12061 or Christ Our Light Food Pantry, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Edward T. Enos.
