Edward V. Finch

Edward V. Finch, 70, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Ellis hospital. Edward was born in Prattsville, NY to the late Ira and Agnes Finch. Edward was a printer for the New York State department of transportation where we would later retire. He loved reading but especially playing yahtzee with his wife Violet. In addition to his parents, Edward was predeceased by his brothers Elton and William Finch and his sister Evelyn Daley.
Edward is survived by his loving wife of over 44 years, Violet (Chase) Finch; he is the brother of, Betty Boehlke, Ruth Swan, Marian Schwebler, Dorothy Britton, Agnes Finch and Alan Finch. He is the beloved father of Eric and Randy Finch and stepfather of Linda Collins. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited and may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211.
