Edwina Margaret Krausse

ALTAMONT – Edwina M. Krausse, 78, passed away on November 10, 2022 after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Albany on March 8, 1944 a daughter of the late K. Edmund and Frances Mary (Martin) Krausse. She attended local schools.
In her younger years, she worked on her family's farm and in later years she worked as a bookkeeper for the Capital District Regional Market for 26 years.
Edwina loved quilting and enjoyed birdwatching and gardening.
She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Stutz in 2006 and a sister, Elizabeth Myers in 2009.
Edwina is survived by her son, Richard (Shirley) Krausse; her grandchildren, Brittani Peterson, Tyffany Krausse, Catherine Krausse and Richard Krausse, Jr.; her sisters, Christine (John) Wiley and Patricia (Don) Krausse as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a celebration of life to immediately follow at 1:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
