Eileen M. Gibbons

STILLWATER - Eileen M. Gibbons, 66, passed away after a brief illness surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine Mulvey. Eileen is survived by her husband of 39 years, Paul Gibbons.

Eileen is also survived by her son Brendan Gibbons and her brother Dennis Mulvey. She grew up in Poestenkill and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.

Eileen showed her love for family and friends by creating Christmas ornaments as well as holiday and birthday cards. She was also an avid New York Yankees fan. She had worked for the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services and Hertz where she showed encouragement and compassion. Her sense of humor and fondness for children were welcomed at Stillwater elementary school. She showed her love for family and friends with handcrafted birthday and holiday cards.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday February 21, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, where at 1:00 p.m. sharing of memories will take place.
