Eileen M. Hirsch

WATERFORD – Eileen M. Hirsch, 59, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy.
Eileen was born on February 29, 1952 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Patricia M. (Dame Clark) Pelton, Sr. She was a title clerk for DMV in Albany for 14 years. She was an auxiliary member of the American Legion Post #91 in Mechanicville. She enjoyed camping, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Eileen is survived by her loving children, Thomas J. (Lorrie) Hirsch, Jr. and Holly A. Hirsch; her cherished grandchildren, Kourtney Igo, Angelique Hirsch, Brittany Hirsch, Ciara Roark, David Hirsch and Brady Hirsch; her sisters, Ruthann Benedict and Janice Libertucci; her brothers, Michael (Joyce) Pelton, Charles (Nancy Bombard) Pelton, Jr., Joseph Pelton, and William (Karen) Pelton; her sister-in-law, Betty Jean Pelton and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her longtime companion of 25 years, Edward Thompson; her brother, Patrick Pelton and her grandson, Steven Igo, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
