WATERVLIET – Eileen M. Luce, 81, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Samaritan Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Eileen was born on July 15, 1929 in Canton, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Emma C. (Seese) Harlacher. She worked as a nurse's aide for Ann Lee Nursing Home and prior to that Albany Medical Center Hospital. After retiring from Ann Lee she did private duty nursing care.
Eileen is survived by her loving children, Eileen Milham (Rick), Frank Drzewiecki, Debra Luce, and Donna Luce (Jack DeGeorge); her sister, Betty Fleahman; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert T. Luce and her sisters, Evelyn Prall and Gladys Igo.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Interment, Memory Gardens in Colonie.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Eileen M. Luce.
