GUILDERLAND – Eileen M. Noah, 74, passed away at her home on Sunday, May 5, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Niskayuna, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Irene (Houf) Murphy. She taught ceramics from her home for many years and retired from the Niskayuna School District and Town of Duanesburg as their Records Management Coordinator. Her artistic skills included painting, crafts and decorating. Eileen also enjoyed roller skating.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William Noah. Eileen is the beloved mother of Darcy (Michael) Drummond, Robert (Vanessa) Jones and the late D'Ann Jennifer Noah. She is the cherished grandmother of Ben (Michele), Brian, Megan (Michael), Natassia, Briana, Jonathan and David. Eileen is the loving sister of Raymond (Joan) Murphy. Also surviving is her devoted companion, Bill Bednardowski, and his family, who Eileen considered her second family and her lifelong friends, Antoinette Di Genova and Yolanda Nadler. Eileen is the close friend and former wife of Robert E. (Judy) Jones.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Eileen M. Noah.
