Schenectady- Elaine L. Brown , 75, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Elaine was the daughter of the late Richard and Ruby Carrington. Elaine was the devoted wife to Eugene Brown.
Elaine worked in the banking industry for 30 years. She enjoyed gardening and watching sports. Elaine enjoyed sharing her cooking talent with those who were less fortunate.
Elaine is survived by her sons, Christopher (Lashawn) and Anthony; grandchildren, Ryan, Christina, Christopher, Jr., Chrystal, Torrin, Christianna, Tiara, Anthony, Selena, Alana, Domiella, Christina; great grandchildren, Mia, Josiah, Aniyah, and Eryana; siblings, Kenneth Haskins, Silas Flowers, and Julie Anderson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
Elaine is predeceased by her brothers, Monte Joshua and Tyron.
Calling hours will be held at Friendship Baptist Church, 407 Union Street, Schenectady, on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held at the Church at 11:00am . Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Schenectady.
Donations may be made in Elaine's memory to Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
