Elaine P. Crandall

Schenectady- Elaine P. Crandall, 94, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nancy Capullo. Elaine is predeceased by her loving husband, Edward Crandall. 

Elaine enjoyed bowling, going to the casino, playing cards and above all spending time with her family. She was also an avid Yankee and NY Giant fan. 

She is survived by her children Sandra L. Blake (the late Fred Sr.), Kevin J. Crandall and Carol A. Crandall. 

She was the loving “Gram” to Tina (Joe), Karrie (Jason), Kevin (Amanda), Brian (Tammy), Fred Jr., and Melissa. She will also be missed by her great grandchildren, Destiny, Makayla, Britany, Dylan, Braydon, Logan, Kennedy, Lily, Alonzo and Dawson. She is also survived by her siblings, Ronald Capullo (Tess Muth), Martin Capullo Sr. (Carol), Louise Mone (Nick) and many nieces and nephews

In addition to her husband she is predeceased by her siblings Charles Capullo Jr., Armond Capullo and her son in law Fred Blake Sr. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. 

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 9:30am-11am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church of Schenectady, 1255 Pleasant St, Schenectady, NY 12303. A mass of Christian burial will begin at 11am.
