Elaine H. Ferris, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Ellis Hospital. Elaine was born in Crompton, RI to the late John and Eugenia Christenson. Elaine loved to travel, especially spending time in Maine. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her grandson, Robert. She will be missed by all that loved her.
Elaine is survived be her loving husband of over 55 years, Robert Ferris; her beloved daughters, Beth Ferris and Lonna F. Gauvreau and her cherished grandson, Robert W. Gauvreau.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 12 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 to 12 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
