Elaine C. Hoyt

Elaine C. Hoyt, 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side.

Elaine was the daughter of the late Edward and Ionia Fuller.

Elaine was the devoted wife of over 58 years, to the late William H. Hoyt, Jr.

Elaine graduated from Storer College of Harper's Ferry, West Virginia now known as Virginia Union College.

She retired, after 20 years with Northeastern Association of the Blind.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

Elaine is survived by her son, William H. (Adele) Hoyt III. She is the adored grandmother of William H. (Anna) Hoyt IV and Mary E. (Christopher) Romanowski. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; Garrison, Braeden, Jaylee and Christopher Jr.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY on Wednesday May 31, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 1, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park, Schenectady, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Northeastern Assoc. of the Blind, 301 Washington Ave., Albany, NY 12206 in Elaine's memory.
