Elaine E. Mccann

Albany- Elaine E. McCann, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 2, 2018 in Albany, NY. The daughter of the late Reynolds and Gladys (Hiskin) Frey, Elaine was born on August 26, 1925 in Albany, NY. A woman ahead of her time, she owned and operated her own beauty salon for many years. She then went on to work for Guilderland schools in the cafeteria, where she was known as "Tab Lady." Elaine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Elaine is survived by her children: Robert McCann and Tina (David) Webber; her grandchildren: Paul (Joanna) Buchanan, Blake Webber, Troy Buchanan, Gabrielle (Bryan) Komaromi and Kyle McCann; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband James McCann and her daughter, Melissa Buchanan.
A private celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date.
