Elaine T. Hart

ALBANY - Elaine T. Hart, 84, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. Born in Albany on November 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John J. O'Rourke and Eliz (Bogdanski) O'Rourke.
Elaine was the loving wife of the late Joseph W. Hart, who passed in 1998. A graduate of The College of Saint Rose, she was a long time school teacher in the Rensselaer School System, an avid bowler and a member of the Albany Woman's Bowling Association and the 600 Club. Elaine was a communicant of All Saints Catholic Church, Albany.
She was the beloved mother of Margaret H. McConnell who resides in West Babylon, Long Island; Beloved sister of Frances Pacella of Albany, the late Dorothy Roehr, Margaret Vertcamo, Helen O'Rourke, Elizabeth O'Rourke and Anne Dwyer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:00 am at All Saints Catholic Church, Albany. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Contributions in Mrs. Joseph Hart's memory may be made to the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, 315 Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
