LOUDONVILLE – Eleanor G. Held, 74, of Loudonville, passed away on Saturday August 13, 2005 at Albany Memorial Hospital. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Gertrude Gaenssley Viola and Martin Raymond Lash Sr.
Eleanor was formerly employed at Tobin Packing Company in West Albany. She was a proud grandmother that basked in the joy of her cherished grandchildren. Eleanor was predeceased by her beloved husband George H. Held Jr., her stepfather Joseph Viola and her brother Fred W. Lesh.
She is the beloved mother of Marion P. Radigan and her husband Paul of Troy. Devoted sister of Martin R. Lesh Jr and Marion D. Schubnel both of Colonie. She is the loving aunt of Sharon Harris and Joseph Schubnel. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Eric, Elizabeth and Jeffrey Radigan, who meant the world to her. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 400 New Karner Rd.
